This is a group of four photographs from one of the Moran trips out west. These were done by noted Rocky Mountain photographer William Edward Hook and sold as souvenir photos at his photography studio in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Hook made a monumental 15,000 mile trip photographing his his favorite subjects: scenery, Native Americans, and railroads. He died in 1908 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, Co.
