Mrs. Grover Cleveland, Cabinet Photo, ca 1886

This cabinet picture of Mrs Grover Cleveland was found among the papers and photo's of the Moran family.  Frances Folsom married President Grover Cleveland in 1886.  This was a special event because it was the first time a sitting president married while in the White House and because his bride was the youngest first lady to date, she was 22 years old.  There was a 27 year age gap between President Cleveland and his wife.
